Description
So, we've got this thread at my forums ( http://enayla.com ) where we're posting photos of ourselves, and then anyone can paint a portrait using them as reference. It's lots of fun, but I haven't had the time to do one until tonight, when I lost inspiration for the picture I -should- work on.So I painted Katheryn
( http://jezebel.gfxartist.com ).
For anyone that doesn't know, Beth is a wonderful artist, and an equally wonderful person - and to add to that, she's stunning as well. Ain't life a bitch? ;]
So, here we go. Reference shot used was this:
http://div.dyndns.org/EK/longhair5.jpg
but in all honesty, I've seen lots of pictures of her from before (and I looked at lots of them, too, to get her features right), so if you want to know what I've based it on, it's all images she's posted of herself that I've seen :]

One complaint though, the nose seems to dissapear into the face at the point. Maybe just give it a little more contrast?

I love how you seem to have gotten obsessed with the hair, because that is awesomely rendered!
Perfect lighting, skintones and shading.. as usual.
If I could I'd rate this a +15
