shoulders are funny, it's like the head wasn't attached to body. Face is well done as usual. Light makes hair look a bit waxy, but hey, maybe your hair is wa.. no wait.. I love how the style is a bit more...loose... than your other stuff. Don't get me wrong, I love your art... there's just something I like better about drawings not being... photorealistic... If I wanted something to look like a photo... well, I'd take a photo... ^^;;

heh. looks like you have a lot of admirers. I like feel of the painting. You did very well at capturing attitude and the colors seem to reflect the same expression. Although I have to agree that the shoulders seem to take away from the painting. They do not have the same depth as the face. +7

Thank you, everyone :] It's really mainly a sketch, or a quick painting at any rate, so I doubt I'll go back and change anything... but for the record, I totally agree with the comments regarding the shoulders. When I reached that part of the painting, it was 6AM something, and I was just sick and tired of it - and hoped no one would notice It's all mirror referenced, by the way, no photos used to look at this time around. I felt I got a more interesting expression that way.

Excellent coloring here. I like the contrast of the skin-tones and the blue light. I do think the shoulders look kind of flat, but, look at my work: who am I to criticize flat tones? I also like the hair, something that I can never seem to get right in my pics. Excellent job here, if that means anything from an amateur like me.
